In Tepic, the Church of the Grass Cross, the first of Father Junipero Serra's mission churches that stretched up through Mexico and California to Sonoma.

Did photography from 1948 on. But after working as a magazine writer and editor for a while, and working in broadcasting, I made documentaries and industrial films, using my photographic knowledge with motion picture cameras. In retirement I am back to the still cameras and happily, because those images I can put on a wall or in a book, and sell the occasional print. Had two print exhibitions, one in Mexico and one in Seattle, using black-and-white images from the 1950s. Is photography art? You tell me. It sure is satisfying.
